So I’m in this band, right…

…and on Friday we did a gig and that gig got a review and it’s here on the Internet, no look, there: www.oneandother.com/articles/review-wild-stallions-at-the-duchess/

There’s a video, too, if you want to see me pretending to be a frontman when really I’m just shifting my weight and trying SO hard to remember the words even though I forgot an ENTIRE VERSE in our second song which thankfully wasn’t mentioned in the review.

Edit: I guess I should say something genuine about this, rather than the flippancy laid out above. This was my first ever review of anything musical I’ve ever been involved in, so thank christ it was a good one!

My favorite bit was this: “you get a sense that they’re just out doing what they enjoy rather than trying to be trendy” - That’s precisely what I’d like people to think about my attitude towards playing live, so it was nice to have had it said about how we did. In that respect I couldn’t ask for a better review.
